Utilizing the Power of Technology: The New Model of Duty of Care

Tue. April 17| 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM | Room 802

From a risk management perspective, duty of care traditionally refers to an employer's obligation to their employees' health, safety and well-being while travelling. However, duty of care can extend beyond this, as employers have an obligation to the health and well-being of their employees not only when on assignment abroad, but at home too. Evolving technology can help individuals stay healthy and secure by providing them with information, guidance and support, both at the right place and the right time. This session will explore ways in which technology, such as digital health platforms, mobile tips and geo-tracking can help organizations fulfill their duty of care responsibility to ensure a secure, healthy and productive workforce.

Attend this session if you are a company interested in utilizing technology to enhance duty of care for your employees at home and abroad.
